Quidamselle (reg: Edermine): 1992 16.3h Selle Francais (Quidam de Revel x Galoubet). Halcyon Hill was lucky enough to add Quidamselle to the broodmare herd for 2010. She is a former Grand Prix competitor by the incomparable Quidam de Revel out of a Galoubet mare who competed in the 2000 Sydney Olympics. The top two photos show Quidamselle in her prime as a competitor, and the bottom photo shows one of her offspring, Louvre, by Chapultepec La Silla (ex Fergar Mail). This special mare combines two of the top bloodlines in showjumping, and will be bred to Contempo (Contender x Polydor) once she has settled in here at Halcyon Hill LLC. 

 

Pinon Isadora: 1996 16.2h Selle Francais (Galoubet x Tolbert). Isadora competed successfully up to 4'6" and has now retired from competition to the broodmare herd at Halcyon Hill. Another high quality mare with blood, bone, and athleticism. Unfortunately Izzy had to undergo surgery for an ovarian tumor in 2009 but she is fully recovered and is being bred to Contempo (Contender x Polydor) in 2010. We eagerly anticipate a foal from this cross in 2011. 

 

 

 

 

  

 

EM Cotton Eye Jane: 2003 15.3h VzW imported Hanoverian (Contendro x Escudo) Jane was imported with her in-utero Cassini II offspring Cassendro. Cassendro is a 2007 colt and stallion prospect, and was awarded top colt at his AHS inspection. Jane started her competitive careerin winter 2010, showing in some hunter classes at HITS Ocala. She moved to the jumper ring where she found her niche and very quickly moved from the level 0 to level 2, to level 4 in just a couple shows. She has tremendous ability and drive, all while being easy and fun to ride. Jane may be bred for an ET foal in 2010, but this is dependent on her sport career as that is her primary focus now.
